Chelsea take decision on selling Kepa after Bayern Munich approach

Chelsea are willing to let their goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga join Bayern Munich before the summer transfer window closes.

According to Sport1, this comes after Bayern Munich opened talks with Chelsea over a potential deal for Kepa.

Bayern Munich have been looking to sign a new number one goalkeeper all summer, with Yann Sommer having been sold to Inter and Manuel Neuer still not close to returning to action after breaking his leg last December.

The Bundesliga champions had wanted to sign David Raya but the Brentford keeper is now set to join Arsenal.

Bayern Munich manager Thomas Tuchel coached Kepa during his time at Chelsea.

Tuchel is keen to be reunited with Kepa at Bayern Munich and the former Paris Saint-Germain coach has personally recommended the Spaniard to the club’s board.
