Sean “Diddy” Combs’s former partner, Casandra Ventura, testified in his sex trafficking trial on Tuesday, detailing how he “controlled” her life using threats and compromising sexual blackmail. While on the stand, Ventura described how Combs allegedly manipulated and abused her for years.
She revealed that he possessed explicit material that could ruin her reputation. A graphic hotel surveillance video from March 2016 showed Combs dragging Ventura down a hallway, which was introduced as evidence by former hotel security officer Israel Florez.
Florez testified that Combs tried to bribe him to cover up the incident.
While Combs’s defence acknowledged some questionable behaviour, they argued it didn’t rise to the level of sex trafficking and racketeering.
