Carlo Ancelotti picks €60m striker Real Madrid should sign as Karim Benzema’s replacement

Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti has reportedly set his sights on €60 million-rated Lille striker Jonathan David as a possible transfer option this summer.

Real Madrid are keen to bolster their attacking options this summer transfer window following Benzema’s departure to Saudi Arabia.

The Los Blancos have already lost the likes of Benzema, Eden Hazard and Marco Asensio in recent weeks.

There is a need to bring in adequate replacements to fill up their vacant positions.

Real Madrid have already been linked with a couple of forwards in recent weeks, including Tottenham’s Harry Kane and Espanyol’s Joselu.

But another name that has popped up on the radar for Real Madrid is David and according to the Tuttomercatoweb, Ancelotti is a huge admirer of the Canadian attacker.

The Italian gaffer would also look to monitor David closely during the Concacaf Nations League.
