Buni tasks new NSCDC Commandant on security, peace-building in Yobe 

Governor Mai Mala Buni of Yobe State has tasked the new state Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, (NSCDC), Alh. Sa’idu Yakubu Aliyu to contribute positively to the security and peace-building process in the state.

The Governor, through his media aide, Mamman Mohammed gave the charge on Monday when he received the Commandant on a courtesy visit.

Buni commended security organizations in the state for their commitment and resilience towards sustainable peace in Yobe State.

He also called for improved synergy among security organizations to build on the peace and security achieved in the state.

The newly-deployed Commandant of the NSCDC pledged to support the state government in its efforts to build lasting peace and security in the state.

He assured the governor and other security agencies of positive partnership to improve security in Yobe State.
