Buhari Visits WTO Headquarters In Madrid

The President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.), on Wednesday visited the United Nations World Tourism Organisation headquarters in Madrid during his visit to Spain.

According to the Minister of Interior, Rauf Aregbesola, with this visit, Buhari has become the first Nigerian leader to visit the WTO headquarters. Buhari was received by the UN WTO Secretary-general, Mr. Zurab Pololikashvili.

Meanwhile, Nigeria has got the hosting right for the first-ever Global Conference on Culture, Tourism and Creative Industry. The conference would be held in Lagos from the 14-16 November, 2022.
