President Muhammadu Buhari is back in Nigeria after spending 13 days in the United Kingdom undergoing medical checks.
He left the shores of the country for London, United Kingdom, on Monday, October 31, 2022, for a routine emergency check-up.
Presidential spokesman, Femi Adesina had disclosed this via his Twitter handle.
The President had presided over an emergency National Security Council meeting in the State House, Abuja, where he and his security chiefs had reviewed the security advisory issued by the United States Government to her employees in Nigeria.
He attended the opening ceremony of the conference and retreat organised for Senior police officers in Owerri, Imo State before jetting out.
A terse statement by his media aide had noted that the President was expected back in the second week of November 2022.
Meanwhile, during the routine medical checks, the President seized the opportunity to pay a brief visit to the King of England, King Charles.
Both men engaged in a heart to heart talk, where King Charles was reported to have jokingly asked Buhari if he had a residential building in the UK.
Now that he is back, Buhari is expected to flag-off the All Progressives Congress, APC, Presidential Campaign activities in Jos, Plateau State on Tuesday.
