Chelsea have reportedly joined Real Madrid and Liverpool in the race to sign Paris Saint-Germain’s Kylian Mbappe.
According to the Daily Record, PSG have encouraged Chelsea’s efforts to secure Mbappe’s signature following direct discussions with the Blues’ co-owner Todd Boehly over a potential transfer for the forward.
Chelsea, under the leadership of Boehly, are attempting to negotiate a player-plus-cash deal to bring the France international to Stamford Bridge this summer.
Mbappe’s future at PSG is currently unclear as he is yet to sign a new contract with the Parisians.
His contract with the French Ligue 1 champions will expire next summer.
Mbappe was made available for sale for €250million (£214million).
