Big Brother Naija, BBNaija, reality show host, Ebuka Obi Uchendu, has singled out Super Falcons defender Ashleigh Plumptre for special praise after Nigeria crashed out at the ongoing 2023 FIFA World Cup at the hands of England.
Obi Uchendu said Plumptre should take a bow for her impressive display for Nigeria against England in the Round of 16 clash.
In a tweet via his Twitter handle, Obi Uchendu tweeted,“Take a bow Ashleigh Plumptre [100%].”
According to reports, Plumptre was impressive for Super Falcons as her shot hit the crossbar during the encounter.
The match ended in a 0-0 draw after 120 minutes.
England eventually won via a penalty shootout after both Desire Oparanozie and Michelle Alozie missed their spot-kicks during the shootout.
