Barcelona top star tells Xavi he wants to leave Camp Nou for new club

Barcelona star, Ousmane Dembele, has reportedly informed the club’s coaches, including Xavi, that he will not continue at the Catalan club as he does not agree with the terms of the renewal.

According to AS, Dembele explained to the technicians that he had not accepted Barcelona’s final proposal and that he planned to put an end to his time at Camp Nou on June 30.

The report added that the 25-year-old’s new destination would be French Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain.

Barcelona had recently assured that there was “a 95% chance” that Dembele would not renew his contract.

Dembele had an offer from Barcelona on the table to renew, but which his agent considered entirely insufficient.

And recent events have made it clear that the French winger will not continue at Barcelona.

Dembele’s France teammate, Kylian Mbappe, who recently signed a new three-year contract with PSG, had reportedly told the Parisians hierarchy to sign the former Dortmund star.
