Bandits Attack on Zamfara Community Abduct 150 Locals

About one hundred and fifty (150) locals, including newborn babies in Dan Isa community of Kauran Namoda local government area of Zamfara State, were kidnapped by bandits over the weekend.

Over 30 others were also abducted by hoodlums in Maradun Local Government Area of the state.

According to BBC Hausa, the community has been deserted following the incident.

According to a survivor, the hoodlums invaded the community, killed three locals and rustled all the cows and other animals in the community.

The spokesperson of the Zamfara State Police Command, Mr Yazid Abubakar, when contacted, explained that they were yet to receive the news of the kidnap incident.
