Balogun linked with Rangers return

Leon Balogun has been linked with a surprise return to Scottish Premiership giants, Rangers.

The 35-year-old spent two years with the Gers before he was released last summer following the expiration of his contract.

The Nigerian international played under current Rangers manager, Michael Beale at Sky Bet Championship club, Queens Park Rangers last season.

Beale is now keen on bringing Balogun back to Rangers, according to the Daily Record.

The centre-back is a free agent after he was released by QPR last month.

Balogun won the Scottish Premiership title during his first season at Rangers.
