The Aren Eggon and paramount ruler of Eggon in Nasarawa State, Mr Bala Angbazo, is dead.
The Dangaladima Eggon, Mr James Angbazo, confirmed the death of the Eggon paramount ruler on Wednesday in Lafia.
Mr Bala Angbazo, died at the age of 89 after a long illness on Wednesday.
The late Aren Eggon, who died after 41 years on the throne, was installed on July 11, 1981.
Born in 1933, the paramount ruler was born in Wakama District, Nassarawa-Eggon Local Government Area of Nasarawa State.
