Atiku submits 2027 presidential form at ADC secretariat

‎Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has formally submitted his Expression of Interest and nomination forms for the 2027 presidential election.


‎The forms were received by leaders of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) at the party’s National Secretariat in Abuja on Thursday, May 14, 2026.


‎Atiku was accompanied by a large delegation of supporters and party loyalists who converged on the secretariat for the occasion.


‎In a post made on X shortly after the submission, the former vice president described the move as a decisive step in the quest to restore good governance to Nigeria.Political Leadership Training


‎“The march to restore prosperity and better days to our beloved nation took a firm and decisive step forward today at the National Secretariat of our great party, the African Democratic Congress.


‎“This is more than a political journey; it is a national movement rooted in hope, renewal, and the collective resolve to save Nigeria from despair,” Atiku wrote.


‎He called on Nigerians across all regions, faiths, and backgrounds to join the movement.


‎“Togther, we will restore the promise of our nation and bring good times back again,” he added.
