Atiku and other ADC leaders visit Oba Ladoja in Ibadan

Ex-Vice President, Atiku Abubakar, has visited the newly coronated Olubadan, Oba Rashidi Ladoja, in Ibadan, Oyo State.

The former People’s Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate visited the Olubadan on Tuesday, September 30, 2025, accompanied by some leaders in the African Democratic Congress, like ex-Kaduna governor, Nasiru El-Rufai, ex-PDP national chairman, Iyorchia Ayu, among others.

In the video shared by BBC Yoruba, Oba Rashidi was seen recieving the visitors at his residence in the Bodija area of Ibadan.

Oba Rasidi Adewolu Ladoja was coronated as the 44th Olubadan of Ibadanland last Friday.

His coronated was attended by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu alongside other dignitaries, including top politicians and traditional rulers like the Sultan of Sokoto, Sa’ad Abubakar III, the Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Akeem Owoade I, among others.

Born on September 25, 1944, Ladoja was elected governor of Oyo State in April 2003 under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party and assumed office on May 29 of that year. He was also a former Senator during the Third Republic.
