The Chairman of the Ebira Avaibe Association (EAA), Alhaji Musa Akaba, has commended the House of Representatives member, Sani Abdulraheem Egidi (SAE), representing Ajaokuta Federal Constituency, for his quality representation in the National Assembly.
Akaba made the commendation on Sunday at Anebo Quarters in Lokoja, Kogi State, when the House of Representatives member visited the association.
The former member of the Kogi State House of Assembly, praised Egidi’s initiatives, which he noted , continues to enhance the lives of his constituents, particularly through various empowerment programs.
Those in attendance includes, the women leader of the Aassociation, Mrs.Blessing Dauda, the treasurer,Mrs.Rebecca Jegede and other members of the group.
Akaba expressed gratitude to Egidi for his moral and financial contributions to the association’s growth.
In response, Egidi lauded the establishment of the association, emphasizing its role in supporting members’ social and economic activities. He called on members to put aside differences and work together to achieve their shared goals.
Egidi urged the people of Kogi Central Senatorial District to leverage the current political climate to unite and contribute to the success of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo’s administration.
Egidi encouraged the Egbira in Ajaokuta community to see themselves as rightful indigenes of the and urged them to actively participate in political, economic, and social activities for Ajaokuta’s development.
He assured the association that he would support its growth and urged members to consult him for any assistance.
The association’s woman leader, Mrs. Blessing Dauda, also praised Egidi for using his legislative position to improve his constituents’ lives, requesting that women be included in future empowerment programs.
Highlights of the occasion includedl a special prayer for Egidi by the association’s Patron, Mal. Usman Obansa, and Treasurer Mrs. Rebecca Jegede, and Egidi’s donation of N200,000.
Women of the association celebrated Egidi with songs in recognition of his impact.
Egidi was accompanied by Sandra Musa, Special Adviser to Governor Ododo on State Emergency Management Agency, (SEMA) and other members of his entourage.
The Ebira Avaibe Association, with members from the Egbira community residing between the 500 Unit area and Ganaja Junction, was established about two years ago to foster love, unity, and both individual and collective development.
