As campaigns begin NNPP vows to steer clear of violence

As political parties across the nation kick off campaigns, the New Nigeria People’s Party, NNPP has told Nigerians to expect violence-free electioneering activities from them.

State Chairman of the NNPP, Dr. Umar Hudu Doguwa claims his party will be law-abiding as the forthcoming elections would lead his party to victory.

While speaking to journalists, Umar said as a party the NNPP plans to take over Nigeria as seen by the prowess and acceptability of the leader, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso.

“Nigeria today, one need not be told that the country is in a critical condition the insecurities, economic woes, social instabilities, all these are things everybody have tested”.

He said, their Party is ready for issues-based campaigns which is why the APC is the only party with eight PhD in the executive.

Umar Doguwa appealed to the Nigerian Media to be just and fair in their coverage of political parties’ activities and ensure that they hold leaders accountable.
