Arsenal have agreed a £12 million deal with Chelsea for Jorginho.
The former Napoli midfielder will join the Gunners on a one-and-a-half-year deal which expires in June 2024.
Jorginho is believed to have also agreed personal terms with the Premier League leaders.
Football transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano, tweeted Tuesday morning: “Jorginho to Arsenal, here we go! Deal agreed on £12m fee; Chelsea accept conditions and documents are being prepared.
“Personal terms agreed, contract until 2024 with option further year.
“First contact revealed yesterday night — medical booked.
“Arteta, key factor.”
