The ruling All Progressives Congress has released the guidelines for the conduct of its 2026 presidential primaries.Government policy analysis
The announcement was made in a statement issued late Thursday by the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka.
According to the statement, the party also set up the Presidential Primary Election and Appeal Committees, alongside the appointment of State Coordinators and Collation Officers.
Morka explained that the decisions were endorsed by the party’s National Working Committee, NWC, in line with the APC constitution, the Electoral Act, and the party’s resolve to ensure a transparent and credible primary election process.
