APC postpones national caucus, NEC meetings

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has announced the postponement of its scheduled National Caucus and National Executive Committee (NEC) meetings.

The meetings, initially slated for September 11 and 12, 2024, respectively, will no longer be held as planned.

In a statement issued by Felix Morka, the National Publicity Secretary of the APC, members were informed of the rescheduling, and the party assured that new dates for both meetings would be communicated in due course.

The announcement did not give any reasons for the postponement, given the significance of the meetings in shaping the party’s strategic direction ahead of upcoming political events.

There have been rumours that the meetings may bring to an end the tenure of the Abdullahi Ganduje-led National Working Committee of the party.

But, National Secretary, Ajibola Basiru has since debunked the rumours.
