APC NWC To Resolve Lingering Crisis In Benue Ahead Of 2023 General Election

Zonal Chairman of the All Progressive Congress,North Central Hon Muazu Bawa Rijau has assured stakeholders of the party of the national working committees intent to  resolve all  differences that arose from the just concluded primaries.


The zonal chairman who disclosed this to journalist at the end of a one day interactive meeting with leaders and stakeholders of the party in Makurdi, the Benue state capital said this will be done before the election.

He particularly commended the  candidature of Reverend Father Alia which he described as a sure victory for the party in the forthcoming  2023 general election stressing that all necessary logistics will be put in motion for the party to be victorious.


Hon Muazu Rijau commended the state party chairman comrade Austin Agada  on how well he has managed the party in the state as well as the many contributions of the leader of the party in Benue state Dr George Akume.


In his opening remarks, chairman of APC in Benue State, Comrade Austin Agada appreciated the zonal chairman and his team for the timely visit.


He called for support from the national secretariat as the 2023 general election draws nearer.


Earlier in the consultation, speakers Elder Simon Shango, Chief Akanga Audu and Prof Ode Enyi called for party faithful in Benue to be given due recognition in the national level.

They requested for  juicy appointments  and employment for Benue sons and daughter, the need for the national working committee to intervene in the conflict of interest amongst elders in the party in Benue, the need for women to be given high recognition following  the strategic role the play in electioneering  as well as a reward system for all party faithfuls.
