APC Chieftain Explains Why Tinubu Could Lose 2027 Presidency

A prominent member of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Barrister Ismael Ahmed, has expressed doubts about President Bola Tinubu’s chances of winning the 2027 presidential election.

Ahmed cited Tinubu’s loss in Kano during the 2023 elections as a significant challenge, as well as the current economic difficulties facing the country.

In an appearance on Mic On Podcast, hosted by Seun Okinbaloye, Ahmed stated that it would be “difficult” for Tinubu to win if elections were held today. “It will be a difficult one, it will be a difficult election. He lost Kano state the last time,” Ahmed said.
