Nigeria’s queen of the tracks, Oluwatobiloba Amusan will begin her quest for a third consecutive Diamond League title on Friday (today).
Amusan will compete in the 100m hurdles event in Lausanne, Switzerland.
The 26-year-old hopes to put up a good showing in the event after coming third at the Ostrava Golden Spike League on Tuesday.
She ran a season-best time of 12.47s in Ostrava.
Amusan will once again face a strong field, including Puerto Rico’s Jasmine Camacho-Quinne and Tia Jones of the United States of America.
The hurdler claimed the Diamond League title in 2021 and 2022.
She is the current World, Commonwealth, and African champion in the 100m hurdles.
