Alhaji Salisu Abubakar to be Coronated Agenyi Ata-Igala Nov 2

The ancient city of Idah is set to come alive on November 2, 2024, as the Igala Kingdom prepares to coronate Alhaji Salisu Yaqub Abubakar as the Agenyi Ata.

This prestigious title will be conferred by His Royal Majesty Agabaidu Dr. Mathew Alaji Opaluwa Oguche Akpa II CFR, the revered Attah Igala and President of the Kogi State Council of Traditional Rulers.

The coronation ceremony, scheduled to take place at the historic Ata’s Palace at 10:00 AM, promises to be a spectacular display of the Igala Kingdom’s rich cultural heritage.
