Former Premier League and England star Alan Shearer has handed Gareth Southgate a list of 23 players ahead of the 2022 World Cup.
Southgate is expected to release the list of players to represent England for the tournament on Thursday.
But Shearer has warned the Three Lions boss against making the mistake of including the wrong players in the squad.
The former Newscastle striker noted that defence has been a major issue for the English side.
Shearer’s squad includes, three goalkeepers, nine defenders, nine midfielders and five strikers .
