By Winnifred Ehimhen

Minister for Special Duties and Intergovernmental Affairs, Sen George Akume has said the 2023 general election will mark the end of Peoples Democratic Party in Benue State.

The minister who stated this in Gboko Tuesday at the flag off of the All Progressive Congress party electioneering campaign in the state said the negative actions of Governor Samuel Ortom ranging from lack of payments of salaries and arrears of workers, total neglect of pensioners and lack of visible projects in the state after 8 years in office opined doom for PDP in Benue state hence the need for all Benue People to use their PVC rightly to send PDP out of the state in the forthcoming general election.

Dr Akume noted that Benue  desperately needs a face lifts following years of neglect hence the need to vote in as Governor an action and developmental individual in the person of  Rev Fr Hyacinth Alia.

For President, Dr Akume called on all Benue sons and daughters to hesitate not but cast their votes on the candidature of Sen Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his running mate Shettima .

He described Tinubu as a tested and trusted politician who has the capability to transform the country the same way he did in Lagos state making Lagos the forth most industrious and largest city in Africa
