Akpabio pledges National Assembly’s support for Tinubu’s reforms

‎Senate President Godswill Akpabio has pledged the National Assembly’s full support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s ongoing reforms.Presidential election coverage


‎Akpabio made the pledge during a Sallah homage visit to President Tinubu’s residence in Lagos. He commended the administration’s economic and security initiatives while assuring the President of continued legislative backing.


‎The visit coincided with Eid al-Kabir celebrations. Akpabio prayed for the President’s good health and wisdom, and sought divine intervention for the release of those in captivity.


‎“We came here to felicitate the President, wish him the Barakah of this Salah on Eid al-Kabir, and pray for him for continuous good health and wisdom, as well as for our nation,” Akpabio said.


‎He further praised President Tinubu for boldly tackling deep-rooted structural issues inherited in 2023, noting that building a viable non-oil economy is a difficult but necessary task.
