The House of Representatives member , representing Ajaokuta Federal Constituency, Hon. Sanni Egidi Abdulraheem has congratulated the Kogi State Governor Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, on his victory at the appeal court which affirmed him as the duely elected Governor of Kogi State.
Hon. Abdulraheem, a community leader and philanthropist in the congratulatory message he sent and copy made available to newsmen in Lokoja, said Ododo’s victory was well deserved, hence the jubilation across the state.
Hon. Abdulraheem said: “I wish to congratulate our Governor Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo of the All Progressive’s Congress, APC, for emerging victorious at the appeal court once again, which affirmed the ruling of the Kogi State election petition tribunal which earlier ruled in favour of the Kogi State Governor.
“The appeal court ruling is an affirmation of the wishes of Kogi people who filed out in the November 11 governorship election. The Governor secured massive votes across the three senatorial districts. This clearly shows his acceptability by the people of Kogi State.
“I am optimistic that he would use his wealth of experience to move the state forward. He is already consolidating on the gains and achievements of former Governor Yahaya Bello, who has taken the state to another level of monumental development since his inception in terms of his landmark achievements and human capital development.
He urged the opposition Candidates and their supporters to accept the appeal court ruling and support Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo for a stronger and better Kogi State for the benefit of the people.
He thanked the party’s leaders, supporters and all the people in Ajaokuta who voted for Ododo to ensure his victory at the poll, “your votes are already being justified through the positive steps already taken by Governor Ododo in terms of inclusive governance, transparent and equitable distribution of state’s resources
“To our God chosen Governor, I say congratulations once again. This is Victory for the entire people of Kogi State.
