Ajaokuta Federal Lawmaker Empowers Constituents Through Skills acquisition

The House of Representative member representing Ajaokuta Federal Constituency, Hon. Sanni Egidi Abdulraheem, has empowered hundreds of his constituents after going through rigorous training in various entrepreneurial skills.

The empowerment programme covered a range of skills, including ICT/software applications, solar panel installations, and the use of agro products in farming.

According to the lawmaker, this initiative was aimed at equipping participants with practical skills to enhance their employability and foster self-reliance within the community.

During the closing ceremony of the empowerment scheme, Hon. Ibrahim Baba-Ganaja, the personal assistant to Hon. Abdulraheem, who spoke on behalf of his principal encouraged participants to build upon the skills they had acquired during the training.

He emphasized the importance of the cash support provided alongside the training, urging beneficiaries to utilize the funds and materials wisely to establish their businesses and avoid squandering the opportunity.

Speaking on behalf of the beneficiaries, Mallam Tohiru expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Federal Lawmaker for his continuous efforts toward empowering the constituents of Ajaokuta.

He noted with great enthusiasm that the initiatives put in place by Hon. Abdulraheem reflects good governance and a dedication to improving the lives of the people of Ajaokuta Local Government Area.

Other speakers at the event hailed Hon. Abdulraheem, describing him as a “talk-and-do” leader, commending him for fulfilling his campaign promises to the people.
