Ahmed Musa slams politicians over ASUU Strike

Ahmed Musa, Super Eagles captain, has slammed Nigerian politicians over the ongoing Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU strike.

Musa on Instagram, on Tuesday queried how politicians feel when they travel abroad to visit their children in school while Nigerian students remain at home.

He said it was a shame that political office holders flaunt the pictures of their children who school abroad while those in Nigeria are stuck at home

Nigerian universities have been closed for the past five months owing to the inability of the federal government to meet the demands of lecturers.

Recall that the Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU, on February 14, shut down all public universities, asking the FG to implement previous agreements that both parties hitherto entered into

Musa’s comments read, “To our political office holders whose children school abroad. How do you feel visiting your children abroad, taking pictures in their schools and posting it online while ASUU is on strike?

“Like seriously, how is it okay to you? You are running a system you don’t even believe in. Show me one oyibo leader whose child is schooling in Nigeria. E no dey touch una?

“And when you return Nigerian youths will still gather and sing praises for una,” he added.
