Agagbe commends Lobi Stars’ players after victory against Katsina United

Lobi Stars head coach, Eugene Agagbe has acknowledged his players resilience in the matchday 23 win over Katsina United.

Agagbe believed that the players’ determination will play a crucial role in actualising the targets for the season.

The Pride of Benue defeated the Chanji Boys 2-0 at the Lafia City Stadium on Sunday.

John Victor and Alao Danbani scored for Lobi Stars in the game.

“I thank my players. They have shown strong character that they want to win the league,” he stated in a post-match interview.

“What they have exhibited against Katsina United is an indication that they want to go somewhere, and by the special grace of God, we shall continue to fight.

“As I have always said, the league is getting tougher, and we will do better in our next game as well.”

Lobi Stars moved to the top of the table following the win.
