The President of the Africa Development Bank, Akinwumi Adesina, has received an honorary doctorate degree in Ethiopia.
The honour was conferred by the Addis Ababa University and was witnessed by the Ethiopian Prime Minister, Abiy Ahmed.
On the honour, Adesina said, “I was greatly honoured to be awarded an honorary doctorate degree by Addis Ababa University, ranked No.6 in Africa and No.1 in East Africa. My wife Grace & I were delighted to be with my brother Prime Minister #AbiyAhmedAli of Ethiopia. Thank you #AddisAbabaUni!”
He received an honorary degree from Duke University, UK last Sunday.
