AFCON: Tinubu speaks with Super Eagles players ahead Angola clash

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu Tinubu has addressed the Super Eagles ahead of their 2023 Africa Cup of Nations, AFCON, quarter-final tie with Angola on Friday evening.

Tinubu, who is currently on a private visit to France, spoke to Jose Peseiro’s side in a video call posted on his son, Seyi Tinubu’s Instagram page.

He expressed his support to the team as they prepare to tackle Angola.

This is coming after the Super Eagles’ impressive 2-0 victory over Cameroon in the Round of 16.

The winner of the match between Nigeria and Angola will face the winner of the clash between Cape Verde and South Africa in the semi-final.

The 2023 AFCON tournament runs from January 13 until February 11.
