Adefemi leaves Rivers United for Cyprus club, Meseryar SK

Lukman Adefemi has joined Meseryar spor kulubu on a two-year contract, the Cyprus-based team has announced.

Adefemi left Nigeria Professional Football League side, Rivers United on mutual agreement.

Meseryar SK posted a picture of Adefemi on Monday having a training session at the club.

The 29-year-old was a subject of interest from Remo Stars but prefers a move abroad.

The forward was second choice behind Nyima Nwagua at Rivers United.

He was part of Rivers United side that came third at the NPFL Championship Playoff in June.
