“ADC is like a used vehicle” – Shehu Sani chides coalition party

‎A former lawmaker, Shehu Sani has likened the African Democratic Congress (ADC) to a used or inherited vehicle.

‎Sani while reacting to the leadership tussle within the coalition party and the decision of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to derecognise the David Mark-led party leadership said the ADC will have to deal with its current challenges.

‎According to him, the challenges currently faced by the coalition party are what one gets when they buy used items, like vehicles, or even inherit such properties.

‎Sani wrote on X, “When you buy or inherit a used vehicle, you’ll have to deal with problems associated with the Engine, brake pads, tyres, shaft, filter and other things.”

‎He further highlighted the importance of registering a new party rather inherit one as the coalition leaders did.

‎“That is the situation of the ADC. That is the difference between registering a new party and inheriting an old one,” Sani added.

‎Recall that Sani had visited President Bola Tinubu at the Presidential Villa, Aso Rock, Abuja.

‎The former lawmaker paid a visit to the president alongside other key political bigwigs from Kaduna State.
