Adamawa REC, Hudu Yunusa Ari a disgrace Bauchi – Cleric

Dr Idris Abdulaziz, a Bauchi Islamic cleric, has described Hudu Yunusa Ari, the suspended Resident Electoral Commissioner for Adamawa State as a disgrace to the people of Bauchi State.

The REC became a subject of controversy after he declared Aishatu Binani, the All Progressives Congress, APC, governorship candidate winner of the election.

According to the cleric, “I am sad and frustrated for what an indigene of our state, Hudu Yunusa did.

“He demeaned the good people of Bauchi as well as his own local government, Ningi.

The cleric said this in a viral video on social media.

He explained that Hudu disgraced the people of the state and ignored his advice.

He added that when Hudu was nominated as REC-designate, he counselled him that he should fear Allah and be honest.

The cleric stated that when the election was declared inconclusive, he counselled him through a text message, which he appreciated.
