Acting PDP Chairman Damagum Accused of Meeting Tinubu, Blamed for Party’s Loss in Ondo

The Acting National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Umar Damagum has been blamed over an alleged secret meeting with President Bola Tinubu.

A former National Publicity Secretary of the party, Kola Ologbondiyan has also knocked Damagum over his lack of interest in the party’s success.

“How can the head of the leading opposition party be accused of meeting with the President of the ruling government without a response?” he asked.

Ologbondiyan urges party leaders to intervene to rescue the main opposition party.

“It is reprehensible that the Acting National Chairman is supervising the dishevelling of the party.

“Amb. Damagun has the least of interest in working for the success of the party in any election,” he added.

Ologbondiyan warned that without a substantive National Chairman, the successive off-season elections in Anambra, Ekiti and Osun may suffer the same fate as Kogi, Imo, and Ondo.
