Abubakar Sanusi Gamji awards scholarship to orphans, indigent students from Kogi central

As part of his new year programmes, Alhaji Abubakar Sanusi Gamji has awarded scholarships to orphans and Indigent students in Kogi central of Kogi state.

Speaking during the presentation of the scholarships to the students which cut across various institutions of higher learning in the country, Gamji said the effort was to ensure that the less privileged people in the society are given assistance.

While promising to sustain this effort, he charged the beneficiaries to be committed to their studies and become helpful to humanity.

He charged other well to do people in the area to assist the less privileged ones in the society, to ensure that they are not left behind.

In their various speeches, the beneficiaries promised to be of good conduct and to take their studies seriously.

Among the beneficiaries are; Obansa Unoiza Habitat, A.B.U Zaria, Abdulhammeed Fatima Zahara CUSTECH, Osara, Isah Ozozoma Fadilat, Kad poly, Abdulazeez Nana Aishat, Fed. Poly Nasarawa, Abdulrahman Saeeda Bilqies, Kogi poly and Farida Idris who was registered for WAEC and NECO exams.

Recalled that in 2022,Gamji paid both WAEC and JAMB fees of several orphans and indigent students after a passionate appeal from Ebira Education Trust Fund to well meaning Ebira people to come to the aide of children/ wards who could not afford to register for the exams due to financial difficulty.

Gamji followed up on those Students that performed well in their WAEC and JAMB exams and offered them scholarships.
