Kelechi Orji Nnorom has been appointed the new Sporting Director of Nigeria National League side, Abia Comets.
The experienced football administrator has been tasked to reposition the club into a more professional side.
Nnorom was part of the Nationwide league (NLO) delegates to the United Kingdom who were on a study tour to several United Kingdom football clubs in 2020.
His appointment was part of the sports restructuring being carried out by the newly elected Abia State government.
Abia Comets failed to qualify for the NNL Super Eight promotion playoffs in Asaba.
