2027: Kwankwaso Meets ADC Leaders Ahead of Planned Defection

‎The 2023 presidential candidate of the New Nigeria Peoples Party, Rabiu Kwankwaso, on Thursday met with the National Secretary of the African Democratic Congress, Rauf Aregbesola.

‎

‎Sources indicate that the meeting is part of ongoing consultations as Kwankwaso moves closer to concluding talks with the party’s leadership ahead of a planned defection to the ADC.

‎

‎After his engagement with Aregbesola, Kwankwaso also held discussions with ADC leaders from Kano at his Abuja residence.

‎

‎The development comes shortly after he hosted former Anambra State Governor Peter Obi and Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde on Sunday.

‎

‎In a post on his official Facebook page, Kwankwaso further disclosed that Senator Seriake Dickson, who represents Bayelsa West Senatorial District, was among those who visited his Kano residence.
