2027: I didn’t buy ADC presidential form to be Vice President – Amaechi

‎Former Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, has declared that he did not buy the African Democratic Congress, ADC, presidential form to later become Vice President.

‎Amaechi made the assertion on Monday in an interview on Trust TV.

‎The former Rivers State governor was speaking on the battle for the ADC presidential ticket.

‎He said if the ADC wants a consensus, then there should be a meeting and if the aspirants don’t agree, everyone would go to the primaries.

‎“Please stop that. I didn’t buy the ADC presidential ticket to become Vice President,” he said.

‎Recall that Amaechi had earlier told former Vice President Atiku Abubakar that they should go to the primaries since Atiku said he does not believe in zoning.
