The National Youth Service Corps has approved Thursday, May 21, 2026, for the passing-out of 2025 Batch ‘A’ Stream II corps members.
The scheme disclosed this in a statement issued on Monday by its Director of Information and Public Relations, Caroline Embu, and posted on its X handle.
The statement read, “The activities heralding the event will commence on Tuesday 5th May, 2026 and will include Job Advisory and Counselling (JAC) by the NYSC and other relevant agencies as well as the signing of final clearance by the Zonal Inspectors.”
It added, “The low-key event will feature the distribution of Certificates of National Service to deserving Corps Members in all the Local Government Areas of the country.”
The Director-General of the scheme, Brig.-Gen. Olakunle Nafiu, wished the corps members a successful winding-up and passing-out exercise.
He also urged them to allow the core values of the scheme to guide them in their post-service relationships as good ambassadors of the NYSC.
This announcement marks the final phase of the one-year mandatory national service for the Stream Two corps members who were deployed in 2025.
