The Secretary of the Kaduna State Chapter of All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council (PPC), Hon. Ibrahim Bello, has expressed confidence that by God’s grace the party’s presidential standard-bearer, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and its Kaduna guber candidate, Senator Uba Sani, will come out victorious at the polls on February 25 and March 11 respectively.
Hon. Bello, a legal practitioner by profession, who is also a member of the advisory committee of Uba Sani Governorship Campaign Council, said in a statement that Tinubu and Senator Sani have demonstrated sterling leadership qualities that will guarantee their performance in the respective positions they are seeking to occupy this year.
The erstwhile member of House of Representatives and Pan-African Parliament (PAP), said members of the different campaign teams are working harmoniously round the clock to deliver Tinubu for the 2023 presidency and Senator Sani as the next governor of Kaduna State.
“I have no single iota of doubt that our presidential flag bearer, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and our governorship candidate in my state (Kaduna), Distinguished Senator Uba Sani will inshallah emerge triumphant in their elections holding respectively on February 25 and March 11, 2023. As a campaign council, we are working vigorously and relentlessly at the grassroots to ensure the resounding victories of these two great men as president and governor.
“As I have repeatedly said, Senator Uba Sani is the best man to take over from our amiable and performing incumbent Governor Nasir El-Rufai. He is the only one that would be able to effectively consolidate on the monumental achievements of the outgoing governor to ensure that the wonderful people of Kaduna State continue to have a feel of good governance and enjoy the true dividends of democracy. He has shown resourceful, purposeful and charismatic leadership with the number of people-oriented projects and empowerment programmes he has successfully attracted to his constituency as the Senator representing Kaduna Central Senatorial District,” the ex-parliamentarian remarked.
On Tinubu, he said: “Our presidential candidate is one man I cherish so much because of his compassionate spirit and the way he has succeeded in building men and women politically that are today making valuable contributions to the growth and development of the country. He (Tinubu) is not the kind of leaders that would not want to assist those under them to grow and become great people in the society as well.
“Within the eight years that he piloted the affairs of Lagos State as governor, he considerably exhibited pragmatic and visionary leadership in the way he laid a very solid foundation of which those after him have continued to build on for the overall advancement of Nigeria’s commercial capital city and the biggest metropolitan area in Africa. Tinubu contributed in no small measure to making Lagos one of the primary economic and commercial hubs for the African continent. Why would I not be convinced that such a man would do well as Nigeria’s president? We are talking about a man, who in spite of being denied state allocation for over two years by the then President Olusegun Obasanjo, he was able to think outside the box to keep Lagos afloat and never had issues with the running of the affairs of the state. Obviously, Tinubu is the right man for the 2023 presidency. I can tell you that Nigerians will be happy to have him as President.”
