2023: Nigeria not divided by religion, ruling class manipulating masses – Keyamo

Festus Keyamo, Minister of State for Labour and Employment says Nigeria is not divided by religion or tribe as opposed to popular opinions.

Airing his opinion via his Twitter page, the Minister said Nigeria is rather divided into the ruling class and the masses.

According to him, the ruling class projects division in Nigeria by manipulating the masses with sentiments of religion and tribe so they don’t question the real capacities of public officers.

His tweet read: “Our nation is not divided by religion or ethnicity.

“It is divided into the ruling class and the hapless masses who the ruling class continuously manipulate by sentiments of religion and tribe so that the masses will not wake up to interrogate their real capacities for public office.”

For the past few days, Keyamo has been defensive of the Muslim-Muslim ticket of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in 2023.

The Minister assured Christians that they have nothing to fear if Bola Tinubu emerged President in 2023 because he allowed his wife to practice Christianity under him.
