2023: Adavi LG Standstill For Natasha as APC Chieftains Dump Party For PDP

As part of the preparation for the 2023 senatorial election, the Kogi Central Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) senatorial candidate, Barr. Natasha H Akpoti-Uduaghan on Wednesday, January 18, 2023, took her campaign train to Adavi Local Government Area.

Party stakeholders, community leaders, and thousands of residents of the local government trooped out to receive the PDP senatorial candidate and declared their readiness to vote for her and other PDP candidates in the February 25, 2023, general elections.

The eleven Wards of the local government converged at different locations where the people warmly welcomed the PDP senatorial candidate in their numbers as she kickstarted her Ward-to-Ward campaign.

Appreciating the support given to her by the people of Adavi LG, Barr. Natasha promised to fight for the people’s interests when she gets to the senate and called on the people to get their PVCs.

“I trust that you are going to vote for me and other PDP candidates, we are going to jointly work with you and bring development to our communities and state.

“We all complain of poverty, God will not come down to change our story, don’t sabotage yourselves, let’s come together to change our story.

“I will speak for what you all deserve, we will ensure your businesses are given the necessary support and our senatorial district and state become the industrial hub of the country through the revitalization of Ajaokuta steel.

“Don’t submit to intimidation, and I hope to celebrate with you on the 25th of February, 2023”, Natasha declared.

PDP also received chieftains of APC who defected into its fold and declared their support for the candidature of Barr. Natasha.

The decampees include; APC Woman leader, Kuroko Ward II, Abdulmumuni Rabiat,
former Councillor Kuroko Ward II, Sadiq Rekiyat, former Councilor representing Idanuha Ward, Hon. Isah Ismaila Ozozoma, former Councillor Adavi-Eba,
Hon. Baye Idris amongst others.
