18 players for Costa Rica friendly

Super Eagles assistant coach, Salisu Yusuf, has listed 18 players for the team’s international friendly against Costa Rica.

The encounter is billed to hold at the Estadio Nacional, San Jose on Thursday, November 10.

It will kick off at 8 pm Costa Rica time on Wednesday, November 9 (which is 3 am, November 10 in Nigeria).

Yusuf settled for local players and a few foreign-based professionals as the main Super Eagles players are unavailable due to club duties.

Yusuf picked two goalkeepers, Kayode Bankole and Nathaniel Nwosu with Sunday Faleye, Afeez Nosiru, Chidiebere Nwobodo and Qudus Akanni also making the cut.

The team is scheduled to fly out of the country to Costa Rica on Saturday.
