Former Arsenal star, Alan Smith, has insisted that Paris Saint-Germain striker Kylian Mbappe would only join Real Madrid should he leave the Parisians in the future.
According to Smith, it is extremely unlikely for Mbappe to join Arsenal from PSG.
Mbappe has been linked with a move to Arsenal and Real Madrid this summer in the past few days.
The France captain’s contract with PSG will expire in 2024.
Speaking to GamblingZone, Smith said, “I would think that the chances of Mbappe joining Arsenal are extremely unlikely.
“The money that it would take to sign him would be astronomical. I think the only place he can go is Real Madrid. I think that is the only place, and that is probably the place that he wants to go as well.”
