Popular Nigerian nightlife personality, Cubana Chief Priest, has taken to social media to drag the living daylight out of socialite Isaac Fayose following his controversial comment describing Igbos as the “greediest” Nigerians.
Recall Entertainment Region previously reported that Isaac Fayose, younger brother of former Ekiti State Governor Ayodele Fayose, made the statement while speaking at a public event where he also criticized Igbo leaders over what he described as insufficient support for detained IPOB leader, Nnamdi Kanu.
During his remarks, Isaac reportedly compared Kanu’s continued detention with the situations of other figures, stating that Yoruba activist Sunday Igboho has regained freedom, while Islamic cleric Sheikh Gumi, whom he accused of supporting Fulani herdsmen, is still moving freely within the country.
He further alleged that Obi Cubana, who he said is known for publicly supporting President Bola Tinubu, was appointed as the South-East Coordinator for the president’s 2027 campaign, instead of using his position to engage the Federal Government on Kanu’s release.
Isaac Fayose also took a swipe at Cubana Chief Priest, claiming that the nightlife entrepreneur’s source of wealth cannot be traced, a comment that triggered social media backlash from Cubana Chief Priest.
Taking to the Insta-stories section of his official Instagram page, Cubana Chief Priest, who hails from Imo State, launched a scathing response against Isaac Fayose, describing him as a “person who does not have sense” and labeling him a “useless guy filled with jealousy.”
In the lengthy post, Cubana Chief Priest defended his support for Bola Tinubu, noting that as APC’s appointed Imo State Director for the 2027 elections, he cannot hope to secure the release of Nnamdi Kanu by opposing Tinubu. He stressed that “power passes power,” emphasizing that backing the ruling party gives him influence to advocate effectively. He confidently predicted that Tinubu would win the 2027 general election, adding that his position in APC will allow him to leverage that power to help Kanu.
On the subject of his wealth, Cubana Chief Priest hit back hard at Isaac Fayose, highlighting his successful ventures in real estate across Imo State, as well as his thriving food businesses. He emphasized that he comes from a family deeply invested in business and noted that his son, Donald, is already building a successful business career.
Finally, he challenged Isaac Fayose to account for his own contributions, asking what he has done for the people of Ekiti State despite his brother serving as governor for eight years, suggesting that his criticisms are empty compared to tangible accomplishments.
