Vice President Kashim Shettima, on Friday, launched a World Bank-funded State Action on Business Enabling Reforms, SABRE, project in Nasarawa State.
This was contained in a statement by Shettima’s spokesperson, Stanley Nkwocha.
According to him, the project includes a one-stop investment centre and multi-door court in Lafia, the state capital.
Nkwocha added that the ceremony was part of events marking Shettima’s one-day state visit to Nasarawa State.
Following the groundbreaking ceremony, the vice president oversaw the distribution of relief materials to flood victims in affected local government areas in Nasarawa.
“He also presided over the presentation of tractors and distribution of Jangwa Paddi Rice to 13 LGAs, sourced from the pioneering Nasarawa Rice Farm project,” the statement said.
