World-renowned boxer Anthony Joshua, on Wednesday, paid a visit to President Bola Tinubu at his Lagos residence, presenting him with a gift – an autographed glove.
The development was revealed by Dada Olusegun, the Special Adviser to the President on Social Media, in a post on social media platform X.
The inscription on the glove reads: “To the Great Asiwaju Borgu of Africa, Bola A Tinubu”.
This gesture comes on the heels of Joshua’s appointment as Ogun State’s sports ambassador by Governor Dapo Abiodun.
The appointment was made during a courtesy visit to the Government House in Abeokuta on Monday.
Joshua’s mother is Nigerian, while his father has Nigerian and Irish ancestry. His Nigerian roots can be traced back to the Yoruba people.
