Former Deputy Speaker of the 9th National Assembly, Rt. Hon. Ahmed Idris (Wase), CON, has congratulated Governor Hope Uzodimma on his recent appointment as the Renewed Hope Ambassador and Director-General for Party Outreach, Engagement and Mobilisation by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

In a statement issued from his Office in the National Assembly Complex, Wase praised the Imo State Governor for what he described as a “well-deserved recognition,” noting that the President had “rightly acknowledged” Uzodimma’s capacity to mobilise, unite, and engage Nigerians under the renewed hope agenda.

“As you embark on this national mandate, I wish to affirm my full support and readiness to collaborate with you,” Wase stated. He assured Governor Uzodimma of “unwavering cooperation” toward ensuring the success of the new national engagement effort.

He further expressed optimism that the governor’s stewardship would enhance grassroots mobilisation, energise party structures, and foster sustainable progress across all regions of the country.

“May your tenure as Renewed Hope Ambassador bring renewed optimism, unity, and sustainable development to Nigeria,” Wase added.

Rt. Hon. Ahmed Idris (Wase), who currently chairs the House Committee on Federal Character, reaffirmed his commitment to supporting initiatives that promote national cohesion and advance the country’s political stability.
